Is celebrating my 1st yr of FREEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDOMMMMMMMMM!! (aka divorce) *cue Braveheart*
Life has been really good to me and I'm thankful that I'm not the one who has to carry the burden on their shoulders. I'm thankful and blessed to have the friends that I do that's been there for me and will continue to be there.
I plan on having a divorce party Sat night with the girls as well as celebrating Mona's great news! No place has been set yet but hoping to figure something out by Sat. Anyone can come if they'd like, just have to let me know so I can give the details. And if you can't, then just drink one or a few for me as well as a nice toast for my well being and wonderful future ahead of me.
AND I also lost 10lbs since Sept 21.

Yesterday I had a pretty decent Veterans Day. Had a great free meal at Applebee's. I knew the place was going to be packed, and it was, an hr wait at least when we got there. We came across a 'Nam vet who was by himself AND is an art teacher for a local college (and teaches special ed students) and invited him to come eat with us since it's no fun to eat alone. We also invited him to come join us on Mon night at Golden Corral since we vets get to eat free that night too.
After we got done eating, we headed to the local TexMex place for some free shots (the roommates know the owner). LORD I lost count after the 2nd (5 from what I was told). I never really had tequila shots but this had a bit of Grand Mariner added to it that made it oh so smoooth! Now I know what to order for my party Sat night. I sipped the shots cause there was NO WAY IN HELL I was going to down them. I never would've made it home if I did that.
And of course a huge thank you to my fellow bro's and sisters for serving our country.

To go with my happiness, I FINALLY got my health check up appt set up for VA AND it's on a fucking SATURDAY!!! That is just soooo awesome cause it keeps me from having to take a day off work!!!!!!!!! I don't have to re-new my health insurance at work except for my dental since VA doesn't do that.
